Several words, actually..

1. If a poster you do not like/disagree vehemently with to the point that you simply cannot be civil, please do not respond to threads that they start.

2. If you and said poster simply cannot get through the day without flaming each other, please take it to PMs and duke it out all you want.

3. If you feel you are being followed around on the board simply to be baited, please PM a mod and let him/her know.

4. Share your crayons.

5. Play nice.

You forgot about the report button for those that want to remain anonymous, in a sissy sort of way...

How could I have forgotten that? That's about the only kind of e-mail I ever get anymore.

I think we need to treat flaming the way slander is treated in the judicial system Truth should be an absolute defense against allegations of flaming.

This post is totally against the entire spirit of the Internet. Ridiculous, anonymous inchoate shrieking-via-keyboards is the vey foundation of online existence, isn't it?

A refresher on flaming for all you non-rule reader types (note that it is rule #1):

1. Personal Attacks/Family shots will not be tolerated on this board. If you don't like what someone has to say then don't read it or post why you think they are wrong. Posts where members start calling each other names will be deleted and the members risk losing their posting privileges.

This is not a democracy. It's a message board. The rules are posted for everyone to read. Truth is in the eye of the beholder anyway.

I was teaching in a preschool one summer right before I got hired for my current job. I worked with the 4 year olds and one of them was a little hellion. It was around the time when Masters of the Universe was HUGE with kids. I made Jesse sit out in time out for something and he was furious. He caled me the worst thing his little 4 year old mind could think up. He looked at me and said "Skeletor!"

I had to laugh. :eek:lol:

I will post the same apology here as I did in the other thread.

To all that were offended, my deepest apologies.

I should not have let myself stoop to the level of trolling or flaming, and I am sorry for responding on the boards period. A few beers, bad attitudes, and a girlfriend who says “since you’re on the laptop, I get to watch Grey’s Anatomy” had me on edge and I was pushed over.
I was wrong, and I am sorry.

Go Vols!
