I get off work around when Josh and Will are on, and I do not listen anymore due to Josh always saying " I'm gonna have to disagree with your comment there I don't think it's this or that", or Will saying the word Dumpster fire every other line... and of course doc jeff and heater, listening to them is like listening to a sports radio show from the 50's, they are such homers, and give no true media reporting to whats going on it makes me turn it off every time i hear one of their voices. Why has there not been a new choice created in this City for sports talk radio ? All the kids you would think graduating from UT every year, you would think someone could put together a money making better station to listen to than this crap for local UT sports.

It's weird here, most of our really good shows (Swain etc. as you have read), you must put forth effort to listen. The sad shows, get thrown at you without regard to your health.

It's Mickey Dearstone has a lot of $$ and pumps his garbage station down everyone's throat.... Wish someone could rival this ass Hat and come out with a better station for Sports radio

I know and that's odd. Usually an investor wants to provide a great service for the best return. He is going the cable approach. "As long as the competition is limited, you will take what I give you". :mad:

The Doc, Jeff, and Heather show..is one thing and one thing only..a cheap time slot filler for the station. Dearstone runs the sports department, Jeff sells ads, and they probably pay Heather in bleach and cheap Russian vodka. :)

and a warning if you listen to Hyams' show..never play a drinking game where you have to take a shot every time he says the word "intriguing" you will die of alcohol poisoning from one 3 hour show!

yep..no one enjoys hearing Will West's voice like Will West himself..he was filling in for Hal this week and I had to listen to get traffic updates

I have tried several times to listen to them but I came to the conclusion it is useless to even try...How on earth you folks up in Tennessee can listen to these people is beyond me...Last time I listened to them Doc was wondering why the away football uniforms were called Storm troopers and said he has never even seen Star Wars...My god has he been living under a rock for the past 40 years?!?

I've had some trouble connecting to Swain this week and have turned on the Three Stooges about three times. I had forgotten how bad they are. Most of the time, it's just talk about nonsense.

I know a lot of people take some shots at Rog...but the guy is absolutely golden.

The pictures of him visiting Basilio remotes and smiling and having a good time do my heart some good. I fully realize his calls aren't for everyone, but I stick with him for that reason...

I listened every day when I lived in Knoxville...

My goal was to see how long before Heather said something inaccurate. Usually with in the first minute....her record was 3 seconds with in turning it on.

Micky is atrocious! Jeff is not bad, but he has to submit to Micky and Heather...which must drive him CRAZY everyday.

As soon as Heather said something moronic, I would change it. It reminded me that what you know is not as important as who you know.

I've always had a really hard time listening to the local sports talk programs. They lack so much depth it isn't funny.

Nashville is worse! I think the Memphis guys are the best but you don't get enough Vol talk. Knoxville wins by default because they talk about the Vols. Move Chris Vernon to Knoxville and I'm good!

Ainge was decent at times when he wasn't failing at trying to be funny, Chris Treece was decent radio. Swain provides some good insight but I could do without stokes sometimes, his humor and the fact he's always interrupting Swain and the guest on the show is flat out annoying. There is a new show coming but I'm not sure when it starts?

Drives me insane to hear stokes say "the boy just isn't any good" or "the boy got out ran by a lineman". There is a fine line between being honest and being a jerk. You shouldn't just completely destroy a kid on the radio . Swain does a good job of saying a player needs to do this or that better without destroying them in public.

I wish Swain would get a co host that played college ball and can provide actual insight into the team. If not a former college player go out and find someone with some experience covering college football instead of someone who is just a fan.
