Gundy doesn’t look that bad honestly. Hell of a lot better than Schiano in terms of record.

After Sunday's turn of events, a Gundy hire would be excellent until he proved otherwise. It would also bury the Lane Train / Gruden to the Hill bullsh** once and for all.

That optimism aside, Currie gets no pass.

And he's a huge upgrade over Butch!

Butch dropped a Sugar Bowl Bid to Vandy! And that's as close as he's ever came to a top bowl bid.

Gundy has coached championship football for a while now.

He's not on top of my list, but he's a good hire and much better than we've had lately.

Get him a good defensive coordinator and let him run the offense. Oklahoma State's offense has been incredible this year.

So it appears Currie and Haslam are panicking and a coaching search is actually taking place now. Hmmn. Should have been done before setttling on Schiano before Burch was fired.

Reasoning, or at least sound reasoning, will probably not play a role in Volnation groupthink at that time either. After all, that is how we wound up in our current predicament which has been a decade in the making. We've started a new UT tradition.

Gundy would be a base hit, but not a home run. My magic 8 ball tells me that he's just angling for another raise.
