There's a whole long thread about this already, answering your question. So if the NCAA decides this year doesn’t count towards a players eligibility why wouldn’t Cade just be able to play either way? I feel as if the ncaa would have to view these as glorified scrimmages and therefore have no control over saying a player is “ineligible”.

They never had control over the P5/autononous 5, at least since 2015.Question - if the NCAA isnt technically having a championship, nor actually running football schedules... Do they really matter this year? Perhaps we could appeal to the SEC and any proposed new governance structure. I mean if you listen to the NCAA, then there is no football this year. Why then do we (or anyone else) care who they think is eligible to play this year?![]()

What you aren't getting is Cade isn't going through mainly because of uga and maybe the SEC. They have to sign off on sec transfers and have never let one through before like Cade's. There's a reason these always are denied 100% of the time and it ain't the ncaa.....
Alright, but we would hate knowingly playing an ineligible player when this is our year!So if the NCAA decides this year doesn’t count towards a players eligibility why wouldn’t Cade just be able to play either way?
