Can Bray Make it?

I don't know if your "more interesting question" is truly more interesting than the one the OP asked since it is what he asked.

However you did say for the game. So maybe you are curious if he can throw for 1,000 in a single game. You have now confused me and I wonder if I should insult you or not. Hmmmm.....

More interesting whether or not he can throw for 1000 yards on Saturday alone.

I don't think we have much shot at winning if he doesn't at least come close. I'll be surprised if we even get 50 rushing yards, so the offense is going to have to come from somewhere. Hopefully the passing game is up to the challenge.

He can. Weaker secondary than NC State. He will see more pressure, but our Oline is excellent at pass protection. UF's front seven will be the toughest we have seen this year, but Bray will be very cool and will light them up imo. No way the UF secondary can cover our WR's or Tight End or Pig or DY in open space. Gonna be a long day for the UF defense.

Great post. Our o line is the best in the country and will give him plenty of time. Also agree on NC State and their secondary being stronger than Florida. NC State was a great win and will be one of the best defenses we see all year. Bray will sit back there and pick this JV secondary apart. 350 yards this week, then breaks the 1000 yard mark in one play in the 4th game.

If CP gets 55 on an end-around can we count that as rushing?

Are you sure about that?
I would think the opposite!
They are good, i guess, but not compared to what we see the rest of the season.

What is the word on the backup CB that is playing for Riggs? Is he any good?

You would think the media would be eating up the fact that CP or Hunter will be facing a 2nd team player for Florida.

I'd say that Bray exploits their secondary and throws for 300+ and 3 TDs

NC State probably had the best SECONDARY that we will face this year but no where near the best D we face.

The secondary is the weakest part of Florida's Defense and I don't think theres any way they can cover CP and Hunter at the same time.

He will be just shy of mannings record and we will all be screaming to put him back in during the 4th to break the record

Yep. That NC State secondary was very strong, as was the whole defense really. I am glad we got that one out of the way early. WHEW.

Riggs was never really a starter he was more of a nickel back. Roberson and Purifoy have been the starters but Jeremy Brown is healthy so might take his spot back from Purifoy. 2 studs in the secondary are Elam and Roberson the other 2 are marginal best.

Also expect to see Jaylen Watkins as the nickel and potentially Pop Saunders at safety now that he is off suspension.

This is an honest question, not trying to troll, who is the best team Bray has beat?

This is the craziest thing i've read. Florida's defense is better than NC State's and Alabama is definetly better not to mention South Carolina has a great defense as well as Georgia. All the teams mentioned have a better defense than NC State's.
