6. Hires Bruce - even the sun shines on a dog's ass every now and then
7. Fires Bruce - Most successful basketball coach in recent history, possible ever in a short amount of time. Allows internal AD and Chancellor to hang Bruce out to dry
8. Hires Cuonzo - completely unqualified for the position
9. Hires Serrano - appears to a good hire
10. Allowed the academic side to overtake the AD making it more difficult to win in all sports

Hart Years
1. Fires Dooley - no question the right move
2. Hires Butch - botched the entire process, but results matter. However this is a hold b/c Butch has not won a thing yet. I think we are all optimistic.
3. Allowed Bruce to got to an SEC school. This is an indictment of our AD. You could not allow this. This will undercut our program for years to come. Cuonzo now HAS to be the answer, b/c all success will be measured against Bruce.

And of course let's not forgot all the arrests, scandals, NCAA probation, punishments, lawsuits (from the joining of men's and women's programs), the firing of Pat Summitt, etc.

How the hell do you blame Hart for Pearl being hired at Auburn? The stupidity is literally mind-boggling.

I do have to say, whether you like the hire or not, Hart should take some notes. Auburn fired their guy, identified their target, and went and got him within a few days. That's how it's done Dave.

The Auburn University Regional Airport is actually pretty nice with the new terminal they've opened. Small, but luxurious.

Seriously, the scene today was unreal when Bruce greeted with the fans. Gut wrenching in a way because I now know UT isnt going to have a coach that energizes a fan base for a long time, but a huge moment for AU basketball.

Dave Hart was not going to fire Cuonzo Martin after the regular season ended as it did -- it simply wasn't going to happen. And as for Bruce, I love the guy just as much as anyone and would LOVE to have him back, but people have got to see the kind of pickle the AD was in.

If we had an interim coach we would be better off. Chances are he would know what a triangle and two zone is and not watch like a deer stuck in the head lights. He needs to go and the sooner the better.

I am surprised we are doing as well as we are looking at the lack of resources we have. Less reserves than most in the SEC.

You people are amazing... you ***** about not making the dance last year, we go on a hot streak this year to get in, and your still unhappy. CCM doesn't shoot or block or run up and down the court. It's the effort the players put forth that counts. Kudos to Auburn. They didn't sit on the hands and wait, they went out and got a good coach. CCM seems like he is getting the feel for the job. He has a winning record here, but you guys want a nother Fulmer debacle. Did you really expect the AD to fire him in the middle of a exciting stretch run. Do you think you would get any high caliber coach here if the possiblilty of being fired in the middle of the seaon hung over their heads? All this crap takes time, football, basketball, even baseball has had it's ups and downs. Look how long Alabama was down. Just root for our team. Making the dance will help our reruiting next year. If the players sell out and play they way they have the last 3 weeks, we will do well. GO Big Orange.

(1) Joan Cronan hired Serrano

(2) Let's imagine that Hart fired Martin last week. Before the S.E.C. tourney and before we entered the NCAA. He hires Bruce before Auburn can do it.

We play poorly in the S.E.C. and lose to U.S.C. and thus don't qualify for the NCAA. (Remember how the players reacted when they learned that Bruce was fired? We lost to Michigan by close to 30) Had Martin been fired, it would have been the same results against USC.

Hart hires Bruce. The cupboard is bare, but we have a winning season in 2015. Do not qualify for the NCAA.

In 2016, we play much better because Bruce brought in some JUCO players and developed the hold overs from Martins time as coach.

Then one of Bruce's assistants commits an NCAA violation. Now, the NCAA begins snooping around. They even snoop around the baseball & football programs.

Now, Hart is stupid for hiring Pearl back.

In this situation, there is no way Hart can come out in good shape. He fires Martin, who had a winning season. He fired him before the NCAA tourney and before the S.E.C. tourney. He hires Bruce and 2 seasons later we are in trouble with the NCAA......

He doesn't hire Bruce and the fan base is disappointed!!! And Auburn beats us each season for the next 10 seasons.

You must not pay attention that much, despite talking a lot. I've said that if Hart decides to part ways with Martin I will not lose sleep over it, and I sure as hell will not act like a tough guy and wish this team to lose or that I want him to come back here and beat the Vols by 30. So who in here really has the stalker girl obsession with a coach?
