That game with Memphis will be a war. You know they have it circled since last year's game.

I agree, I think last years team could beat this years, however, the Xavier game showed a large step in the right direction. We need a floor leader to step-up.

Those weren't trap games. The Ole Miss game was a second-half meltdown with Lofton out. The Auburn game was a second-half collapse while the team was hungover from two straight heartbreaking losses. But, I agree that this team will likely slip somewhere, maybe 2-3 SEC losses total.

last year's team actually played worse D than this version and had a weaker middle. the only positive for last year's team is that people hadn't truly figured out Ramar. this year, they've made him much less effective and his 0-12 FT effort compounded the problems.

I am the upmost Pearl supporter but, does anyone else feel when the guards are chunking up three's and aren't going in at all is it going to doom us eventually

UT has the ability to beat anyone on any given night.

They will have to play their best ball on this night to beat the Tigers on their home court after what we did to them last year. Hopefully our 5 spot will improve because we might be able to abuse them inside depending on how Williams, Chism and Duke progresses. Could be another Texas game though. They get the hot hand then the 3's could start raining agian. They've already beaten some of the top teams in the country. They will be much more battle tested than us. Long time between now and then though. Anything can happen.

nobody caan objectively pick UT over Memphis at Memphis. we might have 30 TOs in that game. their D is wicked and they've been winning without CDR playing well. he appeared back on Sat and that doesn't bode well for us. Ramar's gotta bring it in a hurry for us to compete with the true elites like Memphis
