So it can't be a UT TD since UT touched it first. I believe because McDowell was touching the ball as he slid into the endzone, they ruled it a touchback. The contact after was irrelevant. Someone correct me if I understood incorrectly.
Yes...instead of just running down to the football and just bending over and lightly touching it while it's just sitting there, we have poorly coached players that slide to the ball and give the officials and replay guys a reason to call it a touchback.
