UT's official stance is "We are looking in to it".

One item may have been stolen DURING a practice.

Wouldn't be surprised if Cam is involved, but has no reason to think he is.

There is video evidence.

In short, nothing I haven't read here. Was definetly surprised to hear it come up on Nashville talk though.

He just covered all his bases there. If Cam is Cleared the he can say "I didn't think he had anything to do with it" if Cam is not Cleared and did have something to do with it then he can say "I told you I wouldnt be surprised"

Either way he has an out. Top notch reporting there.

If it was DURING practice , wouldn't Cam be on the field when this took place? What did he do , sneak off and steal people's stuff during a water break? I still believe what Deerpark said yesterday. Tony B is FOS.

Well its been reported that something did happen, just not the way you said, so they won't be denying the incident. Secondly, investigations take more than a snap of the fingers.

There are laws about what the University can disclose to the public about students.

According to Hyams, the Athletic Dept. has definitively said that Cam Clear was not involved and is upset that the story was reported that way.

The UTAD isn’t going to issue a press release for some petty rumor that POS Basillio stirred up. While I know he isn’t like by some folks on this board, Hyams, who is an actual journalist, reported he talked to Jimmy Stanton who said it was a baseless rumor and there is no truth to the notion that Cam Clear is involved.

Period.

So drop it.
