I know he looked horrible as a HC, and there will be NFL teams calling, but remember what he did in San Diego? This guy would be a great OC at Tennessee. He is now on the top of my wish list. Can we make this happen?

Don't know near enough about him but can't see how a guy could go from NFL head coach to college OC and be satisfied.

There is a big difference in the talent level in Miami as opposed to San Diego. When the talent level at San Diego makes Norv Turner look like a good HC, then you know there is something to it.

San Diego is playing better now than at the beginning of the season, but they have definitely declined this year and i blame that guy i can't stand who is coaching them.

I don't like Turner either, but the talent is making him look better than advertised. It's like an ugly girl with the perfect makeup job.

There really are some Tennessee fans that remind me of bammers. We are not going to bring an NFL HC to be college offensive coordinator.

I was going totake one day off 1/3 per my resolutions for 08, but cant pass up the Cameron thread.

Not only did he not like to recruit at IU he really irritated a lot of the high school coaches and passed on some talent as they did not fit what he wanted.

I may be wrong on this but I beleive he failed to recruit Grossman hard out of Bloomington as he thought he was too small. Not that Grossman would have chosen IU; and there were other players he overlooked that could have played at IU and helped.

One good thing going for him is Bob Knight thinks he can coach. That has benefited Cam for sometime now.

I wish him well but not at UT, unless he can bring LT and find 4 extra years of elgibility for him.

Coach Hep, prior to passing away, spent considerable time going around the state (which is a poor football state to begin with) trying to patch up Cams damage with high school coaches.

Stuck in Irish country is correct. We need to pass on him.

:bump3:......i would take him.

It could happen. He could come to Knoxville to be a college coordinator for about $150-300k per year . . . or maybe he'll sit on the beach in Miami for the next couple of years getting paid 7 figures by the Dolphins and laughing a lot. I'm not sure which he'll choose.

You mean the only coach other than the guy in your avatar to take the skins to the playoffs in 30 years? LOL. :)
