Calvin Ridley vs Foreman and Moseley

They need to quit worrying about running plays. Looks like every deep ball thrown so far was when the DB was cheating towards a run play.

Moseley has 7 PBU's this season, one in every game, which ranks 2nd in the SEC. If he could limit the big plays he would be great. He'll make a couple big plays in this game; unfortunately, he'll give up just as many. FWIW, Foreman has 6 PBU's this season.

The narrative is accentuate the negative and eliminate the positive. Don't you know we have the best poster board coaches ever. Don't be bringing any positive stuff like someone leading in pass break ups this way or you will be banned.
Please bring the burnt toast..

I felt like Mosley played pretty solid last season as a freshman. It's like he's degressed on technique. He has solid speed but doesn't look for the ball or fight for it.

DING DING a winner our DB's looked better last year because we got pressure on the QB. The D Line looks more like 2013 when our DB's also looked bad. Having to cover forever makes for a long day. It's Magitt's fault for getting hurt.

The defense just isn't that good overall. The DL can't get enough pressure on the qb, and if we blitz the LBs, the safeties have to play closer to the line causing the CBs to play man up....that's tough on a young CB. Not sure how they can fix that, we have quite a few DLinemen that have good sec experience, they should be getting better pressure on the qb. I will add that Mosley has gotten better each game. He had some nice pass break ups vs uga. I just can't stand seeing McNeil and Randolph miss so many tackles on RBs.

Im so scared about this matchup its not even funny. Ridley could have a career day if he is matched up with these DB's next Saturday. I literally lost all faith in these two DB's when it comes to guarding a receiver especially with the skill set of Ridley. He has world class speed and our DB's with the exception of Sutton let UGA's wideout do whatever they wanted against them. Moseley & Foreman are going to have to learn how to not get beat on simple post routes, Gos, and double moves. You better believe Kiffin is ready to bust out the playbook when he see's Tennessee come to T Town. Also if we beat Bama we are going to the SEC championship game no doubt about it. UF is going to lose to LSU and UGA. Im calling it. GO VOLS!!!!

The correct terminology is "covering a receiver". Guarding is a basketball term. :bash: Sorry RoaminVol, I was appointed Thread Policeman this week.

I think Justin Martin will be just fine....just needs the experience and some coaching (IF martinez is the man for the job there).

My concern is. If Cam goes to the draft. Besides Martin, what do we have in the secondary besides Todd Kelly Jr? McNeil and Randolph will be gone. I don't see Foreman developing into anything special from what I have seen so far. Stephen Griffin? Haven't seen anything from him so I don't know what he's got.
