Guys look, I've cooled down about from all this hating Cut and wanting other coaches. He's not my 1st choice by any means, but if you look at how he handled our offense back in the day, he did an amazing job. He groomed Peyton, Tee, and got Ainge rolling. He's not a nobody who's just going to come in a be horrible. I think that we as Tennessee fans, and being loyal fans, should give Cut a chance, who's to say that he doesn't come in a turn the whole program around. All i'm saying is that if it is going to be Cut, don't act like he's the worst thing to walk the earth.

I'm against the hire but if it's clear he's only here for a few seasons, then I won't be as mad long term.

Still...pretty pathetic he's the best we can get.

Lets give him a go. Atleast he will stay with us! Had a very good O under him when Fulmer didnt pull back on the reigns.

Wonder if Coleman will transfer back to UT next year? He was Cut's chosen one and I think he would be eligible to play next year?

well, the reason i think most fans are mad about the idea of getting cut isn't that he is an awful coach but where would you rank him out of...

We won't have a chance to compete with bama and Florida. We will get 8-9 wins a season and be a middle of the road team.

I mean, come on...his title is already the interim coach. Give him a year and see how it goes.

Wow! That's a great reason to make somebody with no real experience other than WR and RB coach a shot at HC. I don't know why Hamilton is the AD instead of you.

I am ready to puke on my keyboard if this is true. Way to go MH by stepping back the program a few years. Fire freaken Hammy if this is true.
