I give you props. I drove 10 hours (round trip) to watch last nights game. I immediately listed my tickets for the GA game. I'm not driving that far to watch that crap CBJ calls football.

We heard the exact same thing last week "The FL loss was tough, but coming into the season everyone was expecting 8 wins and that is still reasonable with wins vs. Ark, Kentucky, SC, North Texas, Missouri, and Vandy." Well, we lost to Arkansas and are starting to run out ways to get to 8 wins.

So, why don't you step back and really think about it.. If we win 7 games this year against these teams..

NOBODY "knew" that...a bunch of Goober Smoochers tried to convince the rest of us that "9-3 or 10-2 are REAL possibilities" Welcome back to reality...and then some. Do you not realize that the earlier Vandy loss and Florida losses and poor coaching decisions have just been magnified this year due to the scores being even closer?

8 or 9 wins is going to be nearly impossible at this point but I hope you are right.

Sir, you don't seem to understand the problem. It is not just the losses. The fans, and I believe a number of the players, have lost or are losing confidence in Butch, his judgment and his ability to coach during a game. There are no in-game adjustments and no response to adjustments of the other team. The players are regressing. Some of them played better when they arrived on campus than they do now. This is a coach who is in way over his head, and he makes it worse by not accepting any responsibility for his really not very smart moves. During the game last night, the TV announcer showed the 2-point conversion chart that all coaches use which showed that Butch should have gone for 2 points against Florida. The announcer also noted that Butch still believes he made the right decision. He cannot even admit a mistake and is not learning from his mistakes. Does not bode well for our program as long as he is in charge.

The saddest fact for me is that we legitimately could be 5-0 right now. We had opportunities to secure a victory in each loss but obviously didn't.

Brother, not saying I agree. Not saying I disagree. The game last night was the worst performance of the year without a doubt. Every team has one of these games. Some lose and some manage to squeak out a win. If, the team that should have beaten two currently undefeated teams shows up, we can absolutely win Saturday. If the team has quit or has regressed like is claimed here, it may be ugly. Point is, some members of this board have made up their minds and given up. I applaud your attempt to show support and encouragement, but you are gonna get roasted for it. I guess I'm trying to say I appreciate the effort. But I also feel bad for you because you will be called a sunshine pumper just because you have hope. That's sad really. We DO have a chance to still have a nice season. Not much of one, but we do have one. I hope you can repost this in December and say I told you so. Go Vols

Considering what Harbaugh has done with Michigan, we could be 5-0 with a similar coaching job this year. We are told it takes 3 years and to be patient. Success like theirs makes it worse for our team that was hyped all winter while nobody mentioned Michigan during that time. I get more frustrated with every game and I am afraid the players are losing their fire, especially on defense without Maggitt!!

Harbaugh is a proven coach.. Not surprised .. Won everywhere he has been.. He has taken Hoke's players who sucked and made them winners year 1... I dont buy hat crap a coach needs their players..

He has gone from spread to prostyole and won immediately ... Game over

Yes but taking the players that you inherit and building game plans to actually win games with them is not part of the process. That would require more than 63 effort
