The media is trolling us. Within the past 24 hours there has been at least 3 coaches who were finalizing deals to be our coach according to the media. Like Currie said, "dont believe anything until you hear it from me." I am hoping and praying Currie has enough sense not to hire a guy like Schiano when the stakes are this high.

I really need to quit caring about Tennessee football. I think if we hire Schiano that pushes me over the edge to caring about other things.

I try to stay out of this as much as possible, but Currie is a puppet to the powers to be. If you think he's got the power to do what he wants you are foolish. This report is true because it's the UT way. We are a second rate program. Digest that. Get mad at it. Throw your TV. Cuss your neighbor. Do what every you need to do, but at the end of the day you better come to accept it.

I wanna believe you....I wanna believe that admin cannot be this moronic, especially after approving a 200 million renovation.....but its on the front page of ESPN.....I just have no words.

This is freakin ridiculous... if true we may never return to a top 10 team. I’m sick to my stomach. How is he coaching if documents link him to knowledge of what Sandusky was doing at PS? Currie needs to find the door.

Currie apparently decided to forego a search firm because he had already hired Jimmy Sexton to go out and pick his most unhirable client for the position.

right? We are DFL right now in the conference and this hire assures us that we are not going anywhere.

Mike McQueary had knowledge of Sandusky and told Paterno. He didn’t say anything else until the SHTF. In his testimony he said Tom Bradley told him that Schiano told him he saw something once. Both Bradley and Schiano deny the allegation.

Hate to burst your bubble but nothing that has been reported has been even close to as big and widespread as this report. It's nothing like the other "reports" in the last 24 hours.

If they hire this sicko. And he is allowed to stay. I will get rid of my Tennessee gear and just become a Clemson fan like my wife. I can barely stand Clemson, but I like Dabo and they wouldn’t hire a pedophile enabler to be a coach there—I can promise you that.

Neither wields any power over there, they have to be invited to join in the process. I’m assuming neither was. This has The Haslam Family written all over it.

The university needs to grow a set and tell Big Jim, Jimmy and Bill to take their money and go pound sand.
