Hey Larry do you think we would look at DJ Durkin and Brohm as 2 potential replacements? Really like the Durkin idea and Tee would me another.

To me. If Butch has his weekly press conference tomorrow as scheduled. Then he is here for how ever any more weeks and then done at the end of the season. Or they will break tomorrow that he is gone. So I'm waiting for that noon press conference

I hope so... I honestly don't know. Some I would like to see them check with, not saying they will, are Patterson and Fuente... smaller fish would be those you named plus Norvell.

We should remember, we had several turn down even talking with us post Kiffin and Dooley

Honestly, Patterson is my dream hire. He's got the coaching chops, would have our defense elite, and is a proven winner. If I had the checkbook, I would keep adding digits to my offer until he said yes.

Do you think that had more to do with the state of Tennessee football at the the time, or who we had as AD? Maybe both?

If either was the case, do you think they would listen now?

Don't get me wrong, I like the Norvell idea. He's not a splashy big hire, but I like what he brings to the table.
