Did we call the right plays and our team couldn’t tackle? Or was it that we called bad plays?

A little bit of both. Plus missing Bituli (QB of defense) and playing freshmen.

No effort!! The majority of the team played like they did not care! We got manhandled on the line of scrimage by a far less talented team. Even if we lined up wrong we should have destroyed Georgia State!

There weren't that many missed tackles. But many players were consistently out of position and the defensive line was consistently losing ground. There were poor angles, loss of containment, substitution errors, and most of the time we weren't even lined up correctly.

Chaney never returned from lunch on Saturday and Pruitt spent valuable time trying to find Chaney, while letting the defense go to hadez, sheesh, what a cluster ****

If it is an effort issue, should we ask the players nicely if they would please give better effort, OR, just a thought here, freaking let someone else play that actually gives a crap and will bust their tails because it means something to them?
