Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Slowest. Install. Ever.

What kind of connection speed do you have? I bought the game and started the download when I left for work the other morning around 6:30, and when I got home at 5:00 it was about 90% done, and I could already play while it finished. I think the whole download was almost 50 GB, so if you don't have a really good internet speed, it's going to take a long time.

This is my first and likely last digital game. Only reason is because I got the COD edition Xbox

Im on the fence about getting it but dont want a titanfall clone. Is it better? A big difference between the 2?

It's a more complete and polished Titanfall without the wall running and stupid Titans. As someone who hated Ghosts and was close to giving up on CoD for good, this game is really great. It's got a Black Ops 1/2 feel to it.

My experience with digital downloads has been the exact opposite. I'm pretty confident in saying I'll never buy another game on disc again. The convenience of being able to switch seamlessly between games without swapping out discs is awesome, plus since you can buy it right from the console, you don't have to fool with going to a store to buy it. I think if you bought one ahead of time and pre-loaded it, you'd have a better experience. I've already got Halo downloaded and ready to go for next week, it's just a matter of them making it playable at midnight on Tuesday.

My only hang up is with constant sales that retailers have. I bought like 5 games digitally on my X1 and it was awesome to just seamlessly switch between games without having to change discs, but knowing there's a B2G1 free deal next week at Target, it just reminded me of how much better deals there are on physical copies.

The GwG deals can be great though. I bought Titanfall digitally for $25 but it's just really random and could take forever to see price drops like that. And with almost all retailers price matching Amazon it's so easy to find games for $10-20 off the $59.99 price tag.

The convenience is great but I really hate not being able to trade games in. I normally only download games I know for sure im going to like and play for a really long time. I traded in Ghosts for Madden and got 35 bucks for it...

Like the game a lot better than ghosts. But still has lag issues.

Only a map or 2 that I don't like. Guns seemed balanced for most part as well

I have not played many of the maps. How many are there? Just played the jungle one, it was cool except at first I thought the flares were tactical insertions lol
