But I think we win on Thursday. After originally seeing the UL games I was disappointed to say the least about us getting them, but after looking at some numbers I think we are good.
So far in the tourney they've shot 14 of 33 from the line, 64% for the year, as compared to our 66% for the year, which is considered one of our glaring weaknesses.
Also considering the high priority we put on getting turnovers, UL only has a 1.1/1 assist to turnover ratio, compared to 1.4/1 for us. 2 of their guys who see substantial playing time have hideous ratios, including caracter who has a 1/3.8 ratio which is horrible. We also hold a slight rebounding edge 38-37, have a higher FG%, and 3pt%.
Granted there is a lot more to judge a game on, but according to the numbers, we should win

If we didnt have the stupid turnovers against Butler, we would have beat them pretty soundly, so I feel that if we play smarter and only have say less than 10 the whole game, we should be able to outscore them...because our D has been better in the tourney...

the week off helps, and i expect to see a team that looks much more prepared than what's been seen the last two games.

and i just have to think that we're going to see more positive contributions from our 'stars' than we have of late.

this game worries me, but this is precisely the kind of game we show up and win. cause one thing's for sure, if we don't have a big chip our shoulder, we will will by the end of the week after everyone and their brother tells them they're going to lose.

The previous week off didn't seem to show many signs of helping. Hopefully this one will.

I'm looking forward to seeing what CBP has in store for the white suit. Great coaches step up their game too and I know he's a very good coach. It's a national, prime time stage against a historical powerhouse.

This season has already been more than most expected. Let's keep it going!

This sums up how I feel about the "experts": Bobby Knight picked Pitt to win the whole thing...college bball "experts" have a worse record than the weather man. I'm gonna go with the team that was pretty damn consistent all year over the team that has dominated 2 so-so teams so far.

Louisville is a very good defensive team. We need a good game from jajuan and chris. I think if we get those two going we win this thing going away. When it comes to louisville i'am just not real impressed. We match up well everywhere except against the big galute underneath. But wayne has improved a great deal and i think he will at least hold his own. Their guards are not great shooters so they're going to try to pound us on the boards.
I like our chances frankly of kicking the crap out of them.

I have the same chance of winning Saturday's Powerball that Tennessee does of having fewer than 10 turnovers against Louisville.

This is probably true. In which case, if UT does have fewer than 10 TOs on Thursday, I want to play your numbers.

I still cant figure out why UT is the underdog. We win by 10
My immediate response would be that Pitino is a proven Division I tourney coach, whereas Bruce is not as battle-tested. But this is an excellent opportunity for Pearl and his team.

We have too many turnovers. Louisville is one of the best teams in the country that turns Turnovers into points.
