Nice. But, I don't see any logo's just an Orange shirt. Today he was dressed like a member of the coaching staff wearing all UT Nike gear. I don't every recall him wearing UT gear before.

UT has never had a clothing deal that coincided with his personal one. He was Reebok previously and really not going to sport an Adidas one. Cool with Nike now of course he last year and we now just signed with them

Yeah if he doesn't coach here, broadcasting will be it. He will always be around football

Peyton may do some color commentary but he has said repeatedly that when he retires as a player he does not want to coach but does want to work with high school quarterbacks to help them develop. Sounds like camps. Obviously he may change his mind.

Working with college QBs rather than high school QBs hopefully.

I never bought hed go into coaching here until today. Seeing his face, his love for the program made me change my mind. He knows he can help us majorly in the future

I thought the same thing. I know he's passionate about UT, but he just seemed a bit more "interested" on the sidelines than he usually looks.

It won't ruin his legacy if he'd a QB coach on a couple bad teams.

"bad teams" are a thing of the past. This program is headed in the right direction and is once again becoming relevant in college football. Peyton would not be coaching any QB's on " a couple of bad teams" but more than likely he would be coaching them on SEC Championship teams

Has said on more than one occasion that he wants to be in the front office of a PRO team. I'll believe him for now. If he starts hanging around after he retires then I might think he's thinking about it.

Hate to say it but Peyton is headed to Hollywood after he retires. A few movies later he will get that burning desire for football. His NFL destiny is ownership not coaching. The only way he returns to vols is AD or if Fulmer is AD.

I too think that Manning will be an owner of an NFL team or possibly a GM. I do hope he returns to the Vols, though.

GBO!

He made a comment within the last couple of weeks that he doesn't want to be a head coach but wouldn't mind being QB coach at the college level WHEN HIS PLAYING DAYS ARE OVER.

If Peyton were to coach we better start recruiting some linemen who can do NFL style pass protection blocking. I don't see Peyton coaching mobile, roll out pass QB's.

I saw Peyton speak this summer and he was asked about coaching at UT. He ruled out ever being the Head Coach because he has a lot of friends in Tennessee and would lose half of them immediately(wonder what he meant by that?) but did not rule out being an assistant. I do wonder if Butch or any other HC would give up the spotlight because you know the media would flock to Peyton.

I'd say he gets a huge offer from CBS to do color commentary, their first team NFL commentator team is easily the worst of the 4 broadcast networks. I think they'd bump Simms for Peyton easily.

I think it's obvious that he wants to be part of UT Football again at least in some capacity.

I think it's obvious he loves and supports his alma mater. Whether or not he wants to be a part of the football team remains to be seen. I still think he winds up a part of an NFL ownership group, jmo.

Well at least maybe he would take away some of Kiffin's exposure. I have never seen an assistant featured so much by the media! Ugh!
