I don't agree with Trump's decision to send in the NG, however, it is pretty easy to see that Newsome along with Bass are at greater fault when it comes to the handling of this situation. There is no doubt in my mind that there would be violence, chaos, and looting even if Trump never sent in the NG. Hell, look back at the $ amount of damage in CA with the BLM riots a few years ago.

Check my statement on my avatar. When people make statements of opinion as fact that doesn't give them any additional cool points or credibility. As a matter of fact it demonstrates an inability to establish a root cause from empirical evidence.

Edit: Basically, I agree with you. This is the fault of the local and state governments and the criminals are responsible for this and we need to treat them as such.

This is why they supported the BLM and Antifa riots, which destroyed billions of dollars of property. These riots and protests are being supported and paid for by local, national and international groups. For that reason, they must be quelled. The lack of law enforcement by democrats created this problem. We cannot have lawlessness in this country.

I agree except with the NG, I'm fine with a governor calling out his NG to assist in riot control. 100% against the federal government doing it.

Then what’s the solution if backup is needed? If the Feds send in HRT they will leave a trail of bodies. I understand the concern with federalizing the NG, but it feels preferable to Marines. I don’t have the solution, but I know that the ones screaming the loudest didn’t say a word about Waco.
