Trump sent the National Guard and Marines are on stand by. Newsom is suing. A liberal law professor just came on the local news and made it clear that he was personally against Trump's actions but Trump absolutely has the law on his side and Newsom's lawsuit will fail on legal grounds. Not the first time Governor Hair Gel has sued the Trump Admin and won't be the last as Newsom is obsessed with running for President in 2028. National Guard is helping with crowd control and can't apprehend anyone unless they are attacked. Marines can only be used for civilian law enforcement if an insurrection is declared which hasn't been done as of yet. Rioters starting to build in numbers like the last 3 nights. Lots of graffiti about F the Cops, Cops are Pigs, F Ice, and different ways of saying they want to kill Trump. Mexican Flags everywhere. Looks like some are now attacking the Police like last night and throwing objects at them.

If the governor wants to deploy the NG with shoot to kill orders or the local authorities want to set to cops loose on the rioters, fine. Trump could send in more federal law enforcement to backup the ones there but in no way should the president be federalizing the NG and putting them in a position to fire on civilians.

I haven't read the entire discussion but you appear to be the only one I've seen making the comment or assertion that NG or Marines could have an open invitation to shoot these cretins. I haven't seen or heard that. LAPD should or could if needed though. Clear anarchy and outward projection of an invasion in the US. These are trouble makers even if they were laying low until now.
