So you mean the big "other" insurrection that was quickly quelled by local authorities as opposed to this one where local authority is apparently being overwhelmed? How many firebombs were used in DC? From what I can quickly find the DC event ran from about 1:00 to 6:00 PM. Care to compare and contrast the events?

Only 2 ways to go on an overpass bridge. Not like they are gonna jump. Should have sent SWAT or riot dressed LAPD with shields, tear gas, rubber bullets etc from both sides. Beat them all down if necessary and charge them with the STACK of felonies that come from torching a troopers vehicle, resisting arrest, assault on police officer (,is a felony) for any one of them who fights back or throws objects at the riot team.

Let these clowns go sit in prison for a decade and make sure the headline is all over TV, newspapers and the web.

This BS pnly happens in Democrat strongholds up north and out west. Charlotte has voted Dem for over 20 years, but the entire surrounding area as well as close to half its citizens are conservative country folks. Many of which legally carry firearms. I dont see any widespread riots happening here. Thankfully we live next to Clt and not in city limits anyway. No city buses, no crime. Inside city limits, there is a dangerous part of town in all 4 cardinal directions from city center where folks dont want to be caught after dark. Population of 1 million now, 14th largest city in the US as of last census. I still dont see any riots happening here. There was a small group that broke some windows downtown and assaulted a police officer during the G. Floyd bullcrap. Thankfully, our black chief of police went on local news and told everyone in very clear terms that if this BS happened again, the police would elevate their level of violence to stop the threat immediately. No more of his officers would be harmed. That was the end of that. Apparently people could tell he meant what he said. I really liked the guy. Just read last week that chief was caught taking kickbacks and fired....with a $300,000 severance. Lmao

LAPD and CHP were not overwhelmed. It was obvious they were in containment mode, with only a handful of arrests made over the weekend. The directive came from the Newsom and Bass administration.

Not gonna lie..enjoying the nostalgia these riots bring of my childhood and watching libs destroy their own communities live on TV. But now we get better than vcr quality ass whoopings from the LAPD streamed daily too. What a time to be alive!
