Thanks to Biden Trump now has the power to order troops to kill civilians. everybody but the Dems knew it was a bad idea when he signed that, and now its probably going to rear its ugly head real fast.

It's why Mitch McConell makes me laugh. He gets tons of shat, and rightfully so, but he would flat out tell the Dem Senate Leadeship not to break with traditions or he would F them up the bleep hole. They would ignore him. And then sure enough once he has power again he'd follow through. Then they piss and moan. Not great for the country but funny nonetheless

Until a Natl Guardsman, ICE agent or LA police officer gets lit up and dies at the hands of some of these rioters, the gloves will come off and these guys will defend themselves with significantly more force. Hope it doesn’t come to that, but the rioters will decide if they keep it cool enough or if they FAFO. It would be a horrible scenario.

“The President is trying to manufacture chaos and crisis on the ground for his own political ends,” Bonta said.

“Federalizing the California National Guard is an abuse of the President’s authority under the law – and not one we take lightly.

Trump’s comment about arresting Newsom came in response to questions about his border czar, Tom Homan, who threatened to arrest Newsom, LA Mayor Karen Bass, and anyone else who obstructed immigration enforcement actions in California.

“I would do it if I were Tom. I think it’s great. Gavin likes the publicity but I think it would be a great thing,” Trump said.

Newsome, in a tweet, replied to Trump’s statement.

“The President of the United States just called for the arrest of a sitting Governor. This is a day I hoped I would never see in America,” Newsom wrote.

“I don’t care if you’re a Democrat or a Republican this is a line we cannot cross as a nation — this is an unmistakable step toward authoritarianism,” the governor wrote.

I remember a group of insurrectionists not too long ago that were engaged in actual hand to hand violence against Capitol police officers. They get excused by MAGA supporters. But for these insurrectionists we are deploying Marines.

Hypocrisy at a level hard to even articulate.
