Cali bans travel to other states

Texas, three more states on California’s banned travel list http://sacb.ee/a9XL

Earthquake can't happen soon enough

From the comment section:

"Alabama is paying Fresno State $1.4 MILLION to play on Sept. 9th. Is that game legal?"

"25% of the 1st round of 2018 March madness will be in "no travel" states. Hope no Cali school can attend."

This country is becoming more and more screwed up. Here's where Tennessee fits in:

Tennessee's law allows state-licensed therapists to deny treatment to members of the LGBT community based on the counselor's personal beliefs.

And it's not just Cal Berkeley. It would include UCLA as well.

According to the article, if the contract was signed prior to 2017, it is still permissible to use state funds for travel.

Still, this whole thing reeks of clamoring for tolerance while practicing intolerance for others people's beliefs. Typical liberal looneyism.

Yep, but limits future scheduling. Seems as if they want to force everyone to their beliefs.

Oh look further proof that the left wing believes tolerance is a literal one way street.

Your statement is idiotic. Tolerating intolerance isn't what tolerance is, by that definition it would cease to exist.

Your argument is old, stale and wrong. I really wish people would think before typing.

I don't know what else to really expect though. Coming from wingnuts who think education should be based on beliefs rather than facts.

Typical looney conservatives.

And, yes, if you mean I don't tolerate intolerance, then you are right.

You know it's the offseason when the FF interlopers arrive and start doling out their "wisdom".

Each state has the right to implement laws the best way they see fit. Citizens of California elect their officials the same way people of Tn do. Non-issue really.

Isn't it amazing, the liberals claim we all need to be accepting of Islam while at the same time telling the LGBT community they support them as well. But if you go to a christian counselor and he or she doesn't want to hear about your gay sex life due to their beliefs they're considered a bigot.

Speaking of which all these states who require churches to marry gay couples, do those same rules apply to Muslim Churches?

I love this: California is not going to subsidize travel to backward states run by old well-to-do religious white men who want to do nothing but pass laws that benefit well-to-do religious folks and well-connected companies that take advantage of people. They are going to reduce contact with yahoo states that pass laws harmful to the poor, to gays, to workers generally, to women. But if you're a religious white man who owns a company that pollutes the environment and doesn't pay workers a decent wage and wants to offer insurance that won't cover maternity care or birth control pills, why, Kentucky and Kansas and Tennessee and Texas and Alabama are the places to be!

Bottom line is we live in a blessed country where we can openly speak are mind, worship, or choose not to worship. Political allegiance & beliefs get in the way much too often IMO. Respect others and do not let your differences get in the way. That is what makes this nation great.
