Sources are indicating that reports of Calhoun's hiring were very premature and, additionally, that Cutcliffe will be staying at Duke.

Where do we turn now?

OMG! one minute there is a post that we hired calhoun and next a new one is started that he didnt take the job....at this moment or the last couple of days we are the laughing stock of college sports.:banghead2:

Can we start deleting these thread that claim sources but don't give said sources? This is getting ridiculous.

I doubt this is true, but if it is, the coaching search needs to stop, and they need to give Kippy the job.

Lol. I am so ashamed of some of our fans right now. Everybody just needs to take a deep breath and calm down. There's a new freaking thread ever minute. I thought UK fans were bad in basketball, but I'm starting to think we might be worse. We don't need to have 50 threads solely on Troy Calhoun. Calm the freak down.

Guys, I think this is all speculation. People were sure we offered Brian Kelly last year. We may not have offered Cutcliffe OR Calhoun. We may just have had some University representatives talking to them to throw smoke screens out there to keep from knowing who we are really talking to. And, They said the Calhoun thing was premature. Doesn't mean he wasn't hired. Don't know how people automatically say the people "declined" when we don't know for sure they were even offered!?

We did offer Brian Kelly last year.
