On 1460 The Fan radio in Columbus, Mike Griffith of the News-Sentinel was being interviewed in a preview of this weekend's game.

The host asked if Tennessee would be rattled by Cal's noise, which is aided by megaphones. Griffith said, "I don't know, is Ohio State rattled by all the noise they get at Northwestern?"

I nearly drove off the road laughing.

Northwestern has been to a bowl game in the last 10 years, something Vandy can't say. I suppose some Big 10 die hards would suggest that is just how good the bottom of the Big 10 is compared to the bottom of the SEC.
