I was in Pasadena in 1997 and could swear we had about 20,000 fans there. Considering that Cal is a consensus top 15 team and UCLA was unranked at the time (though they'd finish top 10), I think we might get around that number again.
the rose bowl holds about 20K more fans and UCLA fans are famous for selling their tickets. I'd be very surprised to see that many. Nebraska once brought around that many, but that was when we stunk.
droski, thanks for the info! We are looking forward to it. Hope it will be a good game....for the first three quarters! Ha!hope you guys have a great time. just avoid frat row which is next to the stadium
In another thread I posted some pregame spots you guys might want to hang out at. Let's see if I can find the thread. . .

Greg, I was at the UCLA game that year too! Went immediately to the Coliseum for the USC/FSU game. I can't think of a better way to spend a vacation day than hitting two CFB games back to back!I was in Pasadena in 1997 and could swear we had about 20,000 fans there. My fiance and I are going... I'm the one that keeps trying to get a VolNation get together west coast style going... CAN'T WAIT!My husband & I are going to the game....anyone else know of anyone that is going? We have some friends that grew up there & attended. They went with us last year to the game in Knoxville.
We are excited to go & hope to see lots of other Big Orange fans & do some tailgating. Also hoping for an "on the road" Vol Walk.
