Cal gets lifetime contract.

You think if Barnes never wins any hardware fans will still like him?

If Izzo never wins another natty think Mich St turns on him?

If Roy never wins at UNC think they turn on him?

If Boeheim doesn’t get it back together at Cuse?

Self at KU?

We can play the what if game all day long. Cal
has proven he wins. And wins a lot. Championships are almost flukes the way the tournament is designed. Four Final Fours isn’t a fluke. Continue hating. Continue looking dumb.

Not sure how you can say with a straight face that Calipari is worth almost 10 million with a lifetime contract.

There’s coaches out there who are winning with less whom would be a great fit for a program like Kentucky who can bring in some stability and rotation full of good players in the right system.

Just seemed like a desperation move on UK but whatever.

No one is winning more than Cal. Not even K.

Anthony Davis is the best player of the 1 and done era. He was rated #1 in offensive efficiency and #1 in defensive efficiency in the NCAA in his one year at Kentucky and led the nation in +/-. He was the unanimous player of the year in CBB. In the 3 games for the Elite 8, FF and CG he had 6 steals, 17 blocks and 41 rebounds. He was game changing even if he never scored a bucket. Zion scored often, but turned the ball over a lot and wasn't in the top 50 in defensive efficiency. It doesn't do as much good to score 20 if you give up 15-20 on the other end. Davis would score 15 and shut people down on the other end.

Cal has 0 championships for his career without Davis. I suspect he won't ever win another, especially with the 1 and done era ending in 2020-21.

Fwiw, Cal was the one that got screwed the hardest by Marcus Camby taking money. He had nothing to do with that.

The ncaa vacated the Memphis season, but told Cal he wasn’t part of the investigation. He’s got nothing on wearing a tape recorder or lying to the NCAA

To further clarify, K is the GOAT, but this board’s orange colored glasses refusing to acknowledge what Cal has accomplished is just ridiculous.

Ok, catfanbill
yyyyyeeeeesssssss. That’s it. The weakest argument this board LOVES to resort to. Always fun when the (insert good team here) haters can’t justify saying (said inserted team) sucks.

30 years of coaching
100 NBA players
one NC thanks to the Unibrow.

The Unibrow could win the NC with my mother's bridge club as the other four.

It's almost like winning a title is hard...In 10 years Cal has been more consistent than anyone. He has taken a few teams farther than they should have gone. As long as we get to Elite 8, I'm fine. The tourney is extremely difficult. Requires peaking at the right time and a bit of luck. The number one overall seed rarely wins it (i.e. Zion and crew).
