well if u wanna make that argument then you could also say that Florida was 4 points away from losing 3 games and putting us in the SEC championship game, imagine if that bogus roughing the passer penalty wasnt called against Justin Harrell after we had returned an interception for a TD and if our defense could have held of a late score from LSU and then South Carolina makes one more field goal against Fla, now we're looking at an 11-1 season and Florida is 9-3 or even if we had lost to LSU we would have still been 10-2 and Florida still beats SC we r still in the SEC championship game with an opportunity to go to the BCS championship game, but i guess we would have still lost to Arkansas in the SEC championship game... thats just one way to look at it, but if u want to look at it that we were 11 points from being 6-6 then im sure we r not the only team in the nation that was a few points away from having a bad season, i would also like to make the argument that if we had a cupcake schedule such as Notre Dame's that we wouldnt even have to have this discussion, but that's another story for another day.... But back to the subject, i guess you could say that those 4 teams have had more recent success against UT but i believe that UT is capable of beating those teams any day and every year we usually come close to doing so or we do it (with an exception for a couple of games)...
