I agree. Pruitt is getting High school kids to commit to a product that isn’t there yet. I’m optimistic for the future.Majority of the high level recruits we’re landing are gravitating towards the program itself i.e the HC. Developing a relationship is important and good recruiters and teachers establish that. But Harrison Bailey committed with no clue of the identity to his OC/QB coach...because he trusted his HC would get him the right one to guide his development. When you have this dynamic THEN you have a program worth a shizz. So when a Tom Herman leaves your recruiting doesn’t even dip. lol
The one thing I will agree with is that after Henry tells everybody how it is pronounced, they will pronounce it however they feel like doing anyway. you saw how long it took people to stop making jokes about Dobbs lack of eyebrows even after it was divulged that he had a problem with alopecia.I think we can all agree that no matter how it's officially pronounced, Kesling will pronounce it something like "Tow Tau Tool Tee Ah" or something like that.
Brilliant linguistics Jimmy...no sarcasm..that was helpful.Start with the cadence you would use to say:
"DeSoto"
Okay, now add a stressed long O sound to the end, i.e.
DeSoto-Oh
Now replace the DeS with the number 2.
2-oto-Oh
Does that make sense?
Edit: it might be "toe" instead of "2," but I'm pretty sure I stressed the right syllables.
That is some straight up hooked on phonics sh!t right there...Start with the cadence you would use to say:
