It's not sour grapes. It's being annoyed by the 10 or so LSU trolls that came over here last night. And I ain't no killer, buddy.
were you on here last night? if you were then you should understand
And if you have ever been a Tennessee fan you'd be dogging Chavis too.
Foul mouthed, arrogant, and smelling of a three day drunk has been par for the course with the vast majority of LSU fans in my experience. Some of the older fans are pretty classy but the younger ones give your fan base a bad name.Word hadn't come to this site that O was 'going to LSU' before you and your friends from TigerDroppings came over here. It was a completely ridiculous attack by a bunch of foul mouthed, arrogant, LSU fans.

Actually, most of the Tenn fans I've talked to disagree with you. Chavis has done nothing but good things for Tenn and the reason the UT has become what it is today is based quite a bit off of what Phil and Chavis did for the UT program. The numerous amount of NFL players would probably back me up on this. This is really weird that I'm having to defend UT's program.

Well, TD.com allows for bit more "wordy" behavior. As far as arrogance goes, I remember reading quite a bit of poster here state that LSU has zero chance in this, Tennessee is the better program, etc. This blade cuts two ways. I'm not saying it was okay, but neither side is excused. It was pretty pitiful from both sides.
I think Chavis can be good, but he has to have a great line, which he cant recruit. But LSU is good about getting Line, so he should be better.Be ready for the mustang package on third down and long, and FLorida will throw the same post play over and over on it.
I do agree with this. I think this is why the O hire was so important. Right now LSU has a great recruiting class going but most of it falls on the O side of the ball. Ogre will bring some solid D recruits (which accompanies the Chavis hire) and really help coach up the D line. LSU doesn't really recruit stud LB's often because the state just doesn't produce many, so again, this is where O will help. I think Chavis will enjoy the stable of tweener SS/LB's that LSU has. He will be able to convert many guys to help his D style.
Good luck with the Chavis/O combination.
May be a stressed situation.
I think Chavis would have rather had his 2 guys, we'll see how that works out.
I'm sure he would base on familiarity, but Les saw an oppurtunity to get O. Quite frankily, I'm glad he did. As far as stressed situation, I believe Chavis knew going into this deal that Ed was a target. If he was uncomfortable, he would have signed with Clemson. Same with Ed. He won't do it if he is uncomfortable. I think O will be glad to go back to college ball. He gets everything he wants. Recruit hard, Coach D line till he is blue in the face, be a real spark plug on the sidelines, and have Chavis to do all the managerial duties.
Speaking of Chavis, is he considered an in your face type of guy like O. I don't really remember him being that way, more of a speak soft; carry big stick kind of guy. If true, I think they could be good team. Besides, most coaches are alpha dogs minus the two Co-Dc's LUS had this year.
