That was far from a berating. If everyone just created a new thread every time they wanted an update, the "haystack" would be massive, and it would be harder for everyone to find the needle. I wasn't saying the guy was a jerk and should be strung up, I was just making him think (admittedly too harshly, perhaps) about looking through the player threads instead of overcrowding the board with repeat threads. Yes it requires a little more work, but it would be impossible to navigate the board if everyone did this. Sorry if I was overly mean, that wasn't my intention.

No respectable Volnation member will notice your post count as long as you start a reasonably well thought out, spell-checked, and relevant thread. Think through your title before posting also. I've seen a lot of blood in the water over misleading or stupid thread titles.

For future reference, almost every recruit that has ever had passing interest in UT has their own thread in the recruiting forum. There's a search feature at the top right that makes it easier if a thread is buried.

The thread you're looking for is probably on the front page which is why people got annoyed with you (2 threads right next to eachother about the same topic makes it tougher for everyone until a mod merges them).

Also, fyi you'll likely get flamed if you start talking about intelligence and screw up something simple like their/there/they're.

That's right. I'm still doctoring wounds from my last title, misspelled. Merciful mods removed it. Just don't let some ink shop king misspell a tattoo!
