I dont know if we can bring BP back, but I do know that we have top 20 talent right now and we just seem flat. Morale is really bad right now, and sure it can be distracting to talk about the coach's future here, but maybe this distraction is not being manufactured as much as it is being produced as a natural by-product of a program that seems, at least right now, adrift. There is clearly not much excitement absent the speculation about a new coach, or more to the point coach BP. We need some good wins and we need them now, otherwise CCM will not be in a sustainable position for sure.

We to get Pearl back as our coach so we can focus on righting the 2 other horrific wrongs in the world...ESPN hates us and the refs cost us the game...

Top 20 talent would have made 6 more free throws and 2 more wide open threes in the last five minutes of this game.

This loss isn't on Martin. Do you trolls look for reasons to call him out? He can't coach and shouldn't coach here but every single loss is not on him and today's wasn't.

This is the question I think about the most. I think the answer is no. It's $1.6 million. Then you've got to pay another coach's buyout to hire him away.

Kinda weird deal though. At the end of this season he will have 2 seasons left on his deal. Sending him on the recruiting trail with that is program killer in itself. If you don't fire him, you will almost have to extend him.

Personally I think he limps into the tourney, gets beat in round 1, gets 1 year added to his deal and we sit through about a 16 win season in 14-15, miss the tourney and are back to screaming fire Cuonzo.

Do you think it was wise to take Stokes out after 3 fouls with 13 min to go? He could have gone longer -don't take your hottest player out unless he has 4 fouls. Didn't do much after he got out of rhythm on the bench.

Coach doesnt work the refs when we were getting mugged under the basket? Gotta get a tech when Maymon was hammered 2 or 3 times at the 10 min mark.

Substitution pattern? Davis and Edwards not playing against Ky big men? They are physical players.

Coach had a lot to do with not winning this game. Coaching also teaches how to hit free throws. JMO :whistling::whistling:

Our basketball team is exactly where the football team was with ole Doolittle! Hart needs to fire Martin and fix another problem that Cheekey "boogerman" and Hambone created!!!

He has them as overrated not necessarily terrible coaches. I'd call both Roy and Wright inconsistent more so than overrated. Williams has NBA rosters yr in and yr out and still manages to choke away opportunities.

The name of the "article" is "15 Worst College Basketball Coaches". That's a lot worse than calling them overrated.
