Butch has not set the world on fire with the speed of the program's turnaround but I sure as hell don't want Dave Hart and Jimmy Cheek hiring another head football coach. If things turn around and we win the East and see a couple of staff changes and a better signing class than what we currently have committed then I think it's status quo going into next year. If two or more of those things don't happen, then I think 2017 is probably a do or die season for Butch under a new AD and chancellor. Either way, this problem is going to get solved.

This is the biggest thing for me, 4 years in with Butch Jones and the secondary still looks lost, can't tackle, wrap up or cover.....it's indeed sad...........anyone and I mean anyone can run on this defense (did Shoop really say no one would run on the Vols?)

Gotta pay Dools off first. If Butch doesn't shake up the coordinators, it's front of the line for the hot seat. He'll get canned next year. We got Florida and Bama on the road. Georgia and LSU at home. Georgia Tech to open won't be an easy game either. Seats getting hot because Butch is to stubborn to recognize noticeable flaws!

I can't tell you how much I hate this current system of auto-ratcheting up the raises each year.

Pay 'em a fortune with a two-year contract, and dump 'em if they don't convince the Powers That Be that they are performing.

I work for the federal government, and I would LOVE to have as sweet a job security deal as NCAA coaches have. Don't like what I'm doing? Don't think I'm measuring up to standards? Cool, pay me X years' worth of salary, and I'll get out of your hair.

Actually, let's keep looking for the 25 points we needed for the 18 games prior to this year to be undefeated. Make it 74 points...yeah, what the hell, lets go looking for those 74 points in 2017.
