The all-time best one for the Vols was during the 1981 Volunteer Classic tournament vs American University. Down by one point and 3 seconds left, AU was inbounding the ball under our goal. Gary Carter intercepted a pass near half court and heaved a 35 footer to win the game.

Wasn't the first game against UK in TBA we won on a buzzer beater? Maybe it was the second year. I just remember seeing it as a small kid, someone hit a shot that looked like they hung in the air about 5 seconds. Greg Bell maybe? I remember Mark Griffin laying on the sideline after the shot went in and the original Travis Henry throwing a towel in the air.
