You guys can take this for what it is worth. A very good friend of mine let me know that the money for the Fulmer buyout is already in an account at Suntrust Bank. There are a bunch of contributors to this account who are also contributors to the program as well. Not sure if this is any indication of things to come, but at least for the money part, the money is already there.

So now we've got people setting up checking accounts to pay the buyout.

So, basically what you are saying is that Suntrust Bank will be the next bank to fail and we will be stuck with Fulmer until the economy recovers?

Like I said GA, take it or leave it. If these people want to make themselves known, then they can.

In reality most big programs keep funds in escrow in order for such things. The money usually comes from private funds via the foundation. UT is no different. Money is not nor has it ever been the issue. Just look, Arky found 3 mil to get rid of Nutt. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:p></o:p>

Ok, so the money is in place. Next will come the secret booster meetings followed by the odd area code phone calls from Hamilton's office. As much as I would welcome a coaching change, the events leading up to it are depressing.

They better switch the money to another bank from what im hearing suntrust and First tennesse are in financial trouble. I know the buyout is a lot more than the FDIC insured 100k

I heard something similar to Dawson's story from someone who claimed to rub elbows with a large contributor at the Titan's game yesterday.

Wonder how much they wish he was still around?

SunTrust? I wouldn't put the money there. It may go under before fulmer gets the ax and the money will be gone. Maybe UT can ask the federal government for a bailout to pay off fulmer, like all the big banks are getting now. I'll call my congressman.

Here we go again.... I just heard from a source very close to the team that Fulmer will donate the money from the buy-out to pay for the relocation of Nunes' family so He can leave the new HC with some in coming talent!
