I think some of you forget that Todd Lickliter knows the BP system. They will be well prepared for this game and it might be a little closer then some of you think. Don't look past Butler! Grit, determination, and great TEAM defense will make a difference over talent allot of the time. It should be a great game to watch!

I'm not looking past Butler, but by talking about it right now, wouldn't that mean we're looking past Coppin State?

Yes, we are very weak this year. We probably won't even win the OVC this year. We're already 0-3 after a tournament out in California, but might get our first win tonight against Belhaven. Our most talented player, Shawn Whitherspoon, is still recovering from a broken bone in his foot. Even if he's healthy, the UT vs. Murray St game won't be near as close as it was last season.

From all I've heard, he's on the sidelines full time this year. Haven't heard otherwise.

I'm sure you were aware of this, but TTU travels to Huggieville this weekend.

I saw Tech beat FAMU in Las Vegas last year. They had what appeared to me to be the makings of a decent OVC squad.

I basically live in their backyard, 15 miles from the campus, but I really don't know much about them or pay much attention. I know they've been on the verge of making the NCAA Tourney a couple times recently, but losing late in the OVC Tourney.
