If Barnes is out at TX and we don't offer him then I will join the "dump Hart" bandwagon.

Talk about the stars aligned right if TX lets him go.

I'm not sure where this "strong recruiter" narrative is coming from. He is solid talent evaluator, but Butler makes it's living off of 3* guys that I.U., Purdue, and Notre Dame pass over. Also remember that he did all his recruiting at Gardner Webb and as an assistant at Butler. He has never recruited on this level before.

Second year, and yeah it's good, but again it hardly separates him from the pack in any way. And I repeat, if his name was Bobby Yurley, you'd probably hardly hear about him at all.

While this would seem logical, I read an article this morning, will go find it to post the link if need be, that said TN won't pay the basketball coach a higher salary than they will CBJ.

Not a good choice. Resume is awfully thin and unimpressive. He has one decent year with someone else's players and system.

Stop sweating me and making up some agenda. I have stated several times who I like and he has not been mentioned by me one time. I'm sure you wouldn't want him no matter what his resume was. It is better than Holtman's though.

This guy may be a great coach, but only having one year of head coaching experience is a scary thought if he was to become our next coach.

That might be a pay cut. Sure, he wants to leave a NBA job to return to college. Wants to start doing recruiting trips instead of spending free time in the off season. Tennessee will not pull in a NBA coach, especially if his seat is ice cold.

I dont get the Holtmann fascination at all - he left Gardner Webb to be an assistant at Butler. Many better possibilities out there.
