Way worse than Kiffin and Dooley. But alas, I’m pleased with Vol fans. Schiano’s involvment in the Sandusky mess may or may not be true, but what is true is that he has a NCAA record of 68-67. Yesterday, we all let our voices be heard that mediocrity won’t be accepted. WHY FIRE BUTCH to hire GREG SCHIANO????? It’s a lateral move.

Currie, you seriously need to come out and say something, ANYTHING, to help put this fire out. We need some TRUTH for a change. I don’t care if you step up to the podium and say “we called Chip Kelly, Jon Gruden, Les Miles, Dan Mullen, Yada yada and they all said no”. That will at least show that you give a $hi+.

Today, calls need to be made to Les Miles, Lane Kiffin, and Kevin Sumlin. If all 3 of them say no, burn it down.

Honestly, we all wrecked it. Fans have been a big part of why our program has become the laughing stock of the SEC.

This Schiano story is the most Tennessee thing ever.

When you have a series of events, you look for the common threads. The common thread here is a certain booster. We have changed coaches, we have changed AD, but we keep the same power brokers and allow them to exert their will.

Look for the common thread and cut it. Yeah UT might suffer some if they reject the guy, but it would be a temporary step back and an adjustment to see a path to move forward.

Really? So life champs leadership reps and garbage can didn’t already do it, and who’s responsible again?

If the latest rumors are true that Schiano was the guy all along and the rest of the "search" was a lie, then Currie should be fired and the Haslams should be banned from the athletic dept.

And I personally am not sure I would trust anything that Currie says. He more than likely is trying to figure out a way to survive this.

I don't think he can. His best case scenario is to resign, leave with a tiny bit of dignity. I don't think his career ever recovers from this.

He doesn't need a career as long as the Haslams are around. They will make sure he is rewarded for being the good little lap dog that he is.

Take a step outside the orange bubble and look at us from an outsider's perspective. Our fans have been the laughing stock since the mattress burning.

We are a passionate bunch, Tennessean’s are by nature. We are sick to death of the way the administration is running this program into the ground. You could even go so far as to say yesterday was a market revolt. We were not being heard, I bet they’re listening now.

You tell me another fanbase that has been as loyal and long suffering as Vol fans. Hell, Vol fans filled the stadium for an interim coach and a 4-7 team against LSU. Sorry, if a coach doesn’t want to deal with this passion, they don’t need to be here.

Our fans have been the laughing stock at least since the LSU SEC championship game and probably from the Whininess of Peyton not winning the Heisman. Peyton didn't win the Heisman because he and the rest of the team sucked against Florida, over and over again. Vodka goes in the entrance to the alimentary canal, too.

You may be 100% right about all of this, but other fan bases, recruits, potential coaches, the media, etc. do not look at it this way. They all think our fan base is a joke. Perception is reality.

When have we ever given a damn about what they think?
Those who want to be here, will be here. Those who don’t have the stomach for it can leave. Simple as that.

Who cares what recruits think? What potential coaches think? Are you serious?

You may pretend we don't care what the media thinks, but we do. That's why we always cry about the media hating us.

Any coach that DOESN’T want to have this level of passion behind him is no coach I want for my Vols, anyways. What our fan base did yesterday was scream at the top of its lungs that we demand success. We pleaded, NO MORE 6-6!

South Carolina can hire Muschamp and yet we can’t get ANYONE with a clean record to take the job? Bull.
