People here may hate McElroy because of his Bama history but that man is a damn good SEC reporter. Whenever i'm wathcing the SEC network I am constantly impressed by how knowledgeable and just how natural he is.

I agree with you and he always seems to say good things about us. I enjoy listening to him. He is really good at his job.

Seems like thi video came out on the SEC network about two months ago and was coinciding with spring practice. They visited with all the SEC coaches and each visit was a mix of the light-hearted and serious coach talk.

Last night on SEC network i said a show, "Summer Camp: Tennessee" or something like that, this video was on there.

McElroy is great and another rival who was fantastic offering analysis for games was Urban Meyer when he worked for ESPN during his off-year. He actually went in-depth and taught you about how a coach viewed plays and how they reacted to certain things. Didn't just teach you the obvious stuff.

It's really cool getting to see Butch outside of coaching. Nice to know the other things he's interested in and things he's done. Football has really changed over the years. I don't remember seeing anything on TV where they visited Fulmer at Krispy Kreme. lol (I kid, I kid). :)

Part of the SEC Network's Summer Tour series. I think it was probably filmed sometime between mid-February and early April, as Dari mentioned it was chilly while they were standing in front of the Anderson Ctr.

Felt like that was more about Petes, than UT. Every time Butch would start his sales pitch, Dari looked like he was going to kill himself

I actually think most people on here like McElroy. I've enjoyed him from the beginning.

He is also, in my opinion, a very fair analyst. I don't see a lot of bias from him.

I said this in the other thread as well, but I like McElroy. He is always extremely fair to Tennessee, and in most cases, he is pretty positive and favorable to us. I'm tired of the worn out narrative of "Tennessee is always the favorite and does nothing" and he steers clear of that.

He just seems like a natural when he is up there and he doesn't sound excruciatingly painful to listen to like some analysts.

I think its awesome to see Butch get out in the community like that. He sure does represent TN and Ktown with class. Go Vols!
