I can remember when almost everyone loved him for hiring Butch and “saving” UT football. I already knew Curry was worthless and Jones was under qualified. Check my posts😂😂😂😂. But they both made out like bandits, to the tune of millions of dollars....neither was as smart as Dooley though (yeah, he couldn’t coach football, but boy! could he write a contract!). UT admin🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 total incompetents. Pulling for Phil and Dean Davis. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Both smart and both bleed UT orange.

Currie* didn’t hire Jones, he was KState’s AD when Dave Hart hired Lyle in December of 2012.

I'm sick of these types of threads. I wish we could all just move on from Butch.

There was even a thread posted on this very same picture not too long ago, yet here we are again.

JP, I’m with you on this, I believe why we keep seeing this keep popping up, is the fan base is extremely frustrated, and who better to direct it to..,Butch. Have to admit, I’ve been guilty of it a time or two. This will continue to be an outlet until we see some decent winning around here, then the Butch jokes will be fewer and fewer. Everyone in everyday life has to have an outlet to express their feelings about frustration, anger, and even the better emotions that we all have in us.

Yees, ORB, agreed!

Nothing clears out the pipes like winning big.

But of course, even that won't get rid of the Butch commentaries completely. I mean, we're still rehashing Majors versus Fulmer a full 20 years after winning a national championship.

We'll probably continue to see Butch threads, though less and less often, as long as we live (and keep coming to VN.com). :hi:
