I posted this in another thread earlier.....thought it was very interesting from a statistical point of view....
I think this game will have the feel of Alabama vs. West Virginia, UCLA vs Virginia, or Oklahoma St. vs FSU....we will see.
Butch at Cincinnati - Oklahoma - 31, Cincinnati - 29. This coaching staff fears no team. Based on that and the player interviews I just watched, Tennessee has a 40-60 chance of pulling the upset!
No need....there's neither math nor science involved with "global warming" #hockeystick #EastAngliaUniv
Then OU has a touchback. Then 1st and 10 and Cam Sutton has a pick 6.The logic is bulletproof. Where you got to 40-60 figure, I don't know. I like it though. I think you are alluding to a culture this staff instills in its players. I think to win, we have to strike first, build confidence. Would love to lose the toss, get the ball first and have a TD drive to start the game.
Run whatcha brung...not skeered of no freakin Sooners
Wtf is a sooner?

someone who gets paid for what they do, ya stupid volunteer.
A Sooner is a land grabbing thief. In the land rush they left "Sooner" than was legally allowed and laid claim to the better land while the poor honest stiffs were still sitting in their covered wagons waiting for the starters pistol. Vols better be looking for a sucker punch at the coin toss!![]()
Please keep in mind that OU was having to win shootouts almost every game that year thanks to Brent Vulnerables, who just happens to be the DC at Clemson now. He liked to run funky hybrid style defenses and teams were slicing through them like a warm knife through butter.
I'm not expecting a 30 point OU win, but I don't think you'll like OU's current D under Mike Stoops.
That 2010 game for Oklahoma was quite a bit different.
That game against Cinci was the week before the Texas game. Oklahoma's minds weren't going to be on a 1-2 mid-major with a new coach. There wasn't a "Big East Complex" mentally for the Sooners like there is now. This was also at Cincinnati.
So basically almost every major facet is different.
* At home for Cinci, on the road for UT
* Cinci was 1-2 and UT is 2-0
* Cinci is ultimately a "nobody" program. UT is a Top-10 historic program.
* Nobody in the media was making this out to be a game. No articles, nothing. Cinci was just a speedbump to Oklahoma.
* No SEC versus Big-12 or SEC versus Oklahoma undertone for Cinci.
Oklahoma will not be overlooking this game at all, you can believe that. Stoops will have these guys ready to eviscerate us.
