Not sure lsu could stop michel, but uga is pretty bad right now. That aside, BB has always been a solid coach. But he needs an oline and at least had that when he got to Arkansas.

Let's see what Bilema does next year when his 30ish ranked recruiting classes form the basis of his team?

With that said, he has some impressive wins this year (Ole Miss, Tennessee, LSU) and questionable loss (Toledo). Texas Tech is a good team but they wouldn't stand a chance against the Hogs in November.

Ole Miss is a joke, how they beat Bama, then lost to Memphis, I would love to understand that bologna.

LSU are on tilt from Bama, and now will fold.

I just can't get past the " Toledo Effect ".

Butch is the better recruiter, and isn't an assclown like Beliema. BUT Beliema is probably the better coach.

He lost to Toledo, with a team that just beat LSU, how is that better than anything. I could coach Ar to beat Toleda, not so sure about LSU. Does that make me a worse coach?

No, to lose to LSU is an acceptable loss, to lose to Telodo is unacceptable, the kind of stuff where they fire you in the locker room.

I personally hate it, but at least can understand why it happened. It's been beaten to death, but the lack of rotational depth on the dl can't be ignored. Add to that major injuries to key vets and/freshman who were playing well(which occurred in games) , and i can come to terms with where we are in the process. I'm a reasonable guy. I'm patient when i don't let emotions run my opinions. I hate every second of the collapses. But i believe once the depth is there we'll be just fine. I don't define that as accepting mediocrity. Especially when i can see, and quantify, real progress/improvement.

It's a hard pill to swallow, but it did happen against teams that are on a different level of competitiveness. Toledo is a team you pay a lot of money to come and take an AW, tune up game.

Toledo, is the Red 1 of losses, it trumps everything, remember when Appalachian St. beat Michigan.

Yes I am, and I hate it.

But Butch has not lost to a Toledo. How does a coach keep his job in the SEC, by paying teams to come and beat you at home?

Can't get past Toledo, very firm about that. Has Butch done as bad as that?

We also aren't a heavily penalized team and a lot of that does go to preparation and coaching. I agree some in game play calls have been suspect, but he can recruit and we generally avoid dumb penalties. Those facets are part of the gig that butch does do well.

Yes, and I ask, How is that possible? Beat LSU after losing to Toledo.

I'm puzzled by that, how bad of a coach do you need to be, that you can coach a team to beat LSU, after losing toToledo. That's some really bad horrible coaching, to have lost to Toledo.
