Beat Bama. It's pretty much that simple. This is Tennessee, a top 10 program, historically.

No team has beaten Bama more than Tennessee. It is our biggest rival and their biggest rival period. Not Florida.

Tennessee holds 38 wins all time against Bama. Before the pitts of hell over the nearly a decade, this was basically a 50/50 win/loss rivalry.

In terms of competitiveness between teams, this game is the biggest in the Nation. More so than Ohio State/Michigan. More so than USC/Notre Dame, etc.

The Tennessee program and fan base expect to win at least half of these battles. Stop losing to your main rivals.

WE DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE WHOLE STATE OF ALABAMA WE'RE FROM TENNESSEE!

Butch can say streaks don't mean ****. He can say it's just another game. The rest of us know beating Bama is a season in itself. GwTFA.

Leading up to game time you can nitpick all you want but on game day we need positivity..

Sounds bad don't it? Nearly impossible, I know.

When everything gets stacked against this team, when things look the darkest, that's when team 120 hits the F'N' afterburners and plays lights out. Everytime it appears we can't win and the wolf is knocking at the door, they grab a double handful of whoop azz and fight their way out.

They are already there coming out the gate this week so let's just hope they play like it from kick-off till finish. If they do we win, if they don't this could get ugly but either way I fully expect Bama to get throat punched by these scrappy Vols.

We'll just have to see how early in the game our men start swinging and how well Bama can hold up to it.

Thank god you're not on the team "true"vol.

This has been a year of miracles, but turns out miracles are born from hard work, sweat, and determination. Team 120 is special. Today they write the next chapter in this historic run.

It will be their first complete game. 60minutes of fury, ending with Josh Dobbs leading Rocky Top in front of 102,455 rabid Big Orange fans.

OP, we are not Alabama's biggest rival, that would be Auburn. I don't care what Saban says on game day, it's Auburn for them and always will be. We are no one's biggest rival except for Vandy.

Well this marks post 100 for me. This is team 120, anything is possible. Win or lose were going to see a good game. All I want to see is angry effort and good coaching. Let the chips fall where they may.

Got curious on the last one. Apparently, Missouri's biggest rival is Kansas. Per Google, "The Kansas–Missouri football series is the second-oldest and second-most-played rivalry in college football history. The teams first matched up in football on October 31, 1891."

Agree but do they still play that every year like UF/Florida St.?
