Differing opinions is one of the characteristics that makes us such a great fan base. There's absolutely nothing wrong with someone offering an opinion then letting others challenge that opinion with thoughtful arguments. Disagreement is good and it forces the critical review of one's own thoughts, positions, and observations.
Regarding yesterday's game, it was nothing more than a scrimmage in Neyland, under the lights, and on a big stage of around 90k fans as well as a significant TV audience. However, it was a great opportunity to "press the reset button" on the rest of this season. The same technical problems the team had before this game are undoubtedly still present, but the game has to have done wonders for team confidence and unit chemistry. Not to mention, it gave many on the roster the opportunity to take their first (and maybe only) snaps on Shields-Watkins Field.
The team will need that boost against UK and Vandy---both of those teams are playing with belief right now, and both of those teams stand in the way of the Vols opportunity to make it to ATL. Hopefully, our Vols take a renewed approach to remainder of the season. Fair or not, winning the East this year has been the metric by which much of the fan base and various outside observers are judging the overall achievement of Team 120.
