Based on other things he has said, he hasn't taken full responsibility.
Criticize him all you want for the loss Saturday. We botched a sure win, criticism is very justified.
But quit whining that he "always makes excuses". After OU he took complete responsibility and he did again today.
JONES: I'm the head football coach. I'm responsible for everything and anything. So I say put it all on my shoulders.
JONES: In order to improve we must own it. That's on me first.

Jones accepts full responsibility. Hopefully he really believes that, and will learn from his mistakes.
But quit saying he doesn't take responsibility. He does.
He plays not to lose, big time recruiter but my problem is Florida's quarterback threw for 120 plus yards on 4th down and we only rushed 3 on the last touchdown.
As he should....he needs to be more than 1% better at CoachING each week.
This is what I hear when Butch "takes responsibility" for a loss...

This must not be on your sheet for excuses. On 99% of the sheets I have seen, he is a deer in headlights and continues to set records in the wrong direction.Criticize him all you want for the loss Saturday. We botched a sure win, criticism is very justified.
