But wtf? Why should he? Players missed A LOT of plays. They need to know that and be told about that. The first UF TD drive of the 4th was long...plenty of opportunity there. The 2nd, well, obvious missed tackles. The Dobbs fumble? They played an excellent game but this is not all on him.

OP, you need too listen to the post games press conference from Saturday and from the Oklahoma game. The truth is that immediately after the games he didn't take responsiblity at all, in both cases it was a day or two later. He is only saying this after he got called out in the media and by the fans. Signs of a politition not a responsible coach.

If I was a betting man I'd say he's spent too much time listening to former coach PF; get ahead by 3 and try to run the clock out. That is EXACTLY what we want to get away from. Get a formidable passing attack and the run will open itself up. I still say they lack confidence in Dobbs going downfield passing (more than 15 yards).

Having seen the Oklahoma and Florida games this year, and the South Carolina game last year, I think regardless of the score in a game, Butch and his coordinators should call the plays as though they are down by two touchdowns all the time. They seem to know how to come from behind, but not how to maintain a lead.

The way the man answers, you might think he is directing every word to the players and coaches...... It's like he really don't care what we think or what the media thinks, sounds like he only cares what the players and coaches get out of what he says.
Which coach was it that almost cried in his press conf., Butch never do that, please.

I worked for a man years ago that is just like Butch Jones. A lot of charisma and energy, with the potential to build an empire, but he was a bad decision maker and would never listen to reason or be swayed, and we watched him single handedly crumble a successful business to ashes right under his feet. Eventually he sold control over the business to avoid bankruptcy and a capable business person built it back to health. If Butch Jones doesn't get over his own ego and start delegating out of his weaknesses, his dream is going to die a painful death.

he must fix his mistakes or he will be labeled the worst game manager in division 1 college football by the end of the season.

This must not be on your sheet for excuses. On 99% of the sheets I have seen, he is a deer in headlights and continues to set records in the wrong direction.

This is not on Butch, it is on our overrated WR's that can't catch a lick. I do question the call on 4th and 14, why throw a 30 yard bomb, especially since Dobbs can't seem to complete one longer than 15 yds.
