Exactly, I'm trying to explain what he was saying.

I just don't think he had Vandy's success in mind when he said 6-7 years. Although they have the clowns 7-6 in the 4th.

Have you seen Saban's teams lose games the past 5 years? If you have, you've seen Saban lose to teams with less talent than his own. If he loses games against inferior opponents with the best roster in the country, what would he do with a roster that is far less than 'best'?

Your model says the more talented team wins 70% of the time, right? Saban has won about 85% of his games at Alabama, including the last game of the college season 3 times. So what does that tell us? Surely to goodness you're not gonna try and tell me that Jones is a better coach than Saban, too.

Those numbers don't won football games. Players and coaches do.

You lose all credibility when you say one of the best coaches of our lifetimes wouldn't do better than a Dooley on Saturday clone...

If you were hired as the head coach of a program and began making around $70,000 a week and with social media being what it is today, would you hire several PR firms to cover up these boards with positive posts? I would.

Yesterday was the sorriest coaching job I have ever seen. Notice how the majority of posters who attack this post became members after Butch's hire date.

What we have on here are a bunch of hired guns. Professionals. We could go 0-11 and they would still be doing what they are hired to do.

Saban won the SEC his second year at LSU and went 12-0 his second year at Bama. Either he keeps stumbling into gold mines or your argument is idiotic.
