DAJ actually has it right, Eddie. You're debating with emotion; he's debating with logic and fact.

Just as one bit of evidence to how emotion is driving you: your fixation on the come from behind nature of the OK and FL games.

Forgive me. I just have problems with all these hard coin-flip maths.

I now realize that the 188 times a team held a two TD lead in a game (nevermind midway through the fourth quarter) was the anomaly.

Daj's model correctly predicted that the 3 times a team would lose from such a position was Tennessee.

Heh, now you're just being facetious. DAJ's models say nothing about how the game will play out, it deals only with outcomes.

But you knew that...you're just arguing from emotion.

I will acknowledge he's done a lot of good recruiting. That doesn't change the fact that he's too stupid to ever win the SEC, and the hires he has made have been abysmal.

How many times does he have to blow games and lose to ranked teams before you admit he and his MAC quality staff should get lost?

Yes ...you're safe. :).

Saban was able to use John Parker Wilson,Andre Smith, Mike McCoy, DJ Hall,Antoine Caldwell,Justin Britt and Greg McElroy on offense to some effect. On defense Javier Arenas was pretty good...Wallace Gilberry is still playing in the NFL, Justin Woodall started for the first championship team, Marquise Johnson started from his junior year on...those are the ones I "researched"...errybody else was the shiznit! (Made that up :wink2:). Saban added lots of talent really fast but he had a better starting framework than Butch...hope this helped. :hi:

If Georgia and Bowling Green finish the season unranked, Botch will have one win against a ranked opponent in 3 seasons, with that win coming his first year. But progress!

TVols, what is pretty obvious is that your mind is as closed and locked to Butch & Co. as a Brinks safe.

Which is going to be a real pity for you when he wins us our next SEC championship.

How sheepishly will you eat crow on that day? Or will you just pretend that you never spewed vitrol at him and anyone who supports him as our coach?

I would eat crow, but that day will almost certainly never come. This year was the best chance, and he absolutely **** himself. I genuinely hope we dump Butch (or he runs away) before he squanders all the talent he has recruited here so far. It's only going to get harder from here.
