I really thought his new show was going to be more of a talk show format

"Best fan base in the country"
^Beat me to it.

"Were not anywhere where we need to be"
"Great, great"

Anyway thanks for the heads up. Will watch.

Well, I got one even though he slightly altered it (about "not being where we need to be"). Should have seen the "right place, right time" coming. That's a new favorite of his it seems.

**I also think he screwed up when saying "Vol Navy" when he really meant "Vol Nation".

He almost always drops 2 or 3 "obviously"s in the first minute, and then stops. Didn't disappoint tonight with SVP.

I can't listen to Butch's interviews anymore. I'm still holding out hope that once he starts winning here, he reveals that it was all a ruse and that he actually has a Spurrier-type personality. Then he starts ripping on other programs the same way he rips on players during practice.

I think he meant Vol Navy. A lot of the big shots have already sailed up the Tennessee river and are in Knoxville already.

You could be right. Just seemed to me that when asked about the atmosphere (he said the Vol Navy will be in full force or something to that effect) he stumbled a bit. But SVP was quick to reference Vol Nation right after.

Either way, Im glad he mentioned the Vol Navy, its a unique Tennessee tradition worthy of recognition.

He's been using a new one, "Baseline". Surely that made an appearance or 2?

Didn't catch that one. But he uses so many so frequently it might have slipped in there somewhere.

**Of course he brought up youth. Didn't quite try to make the case that his team is younger this year than last year but pretty sure he made a comment about "youngest in the nation".

One thing about CBJ, he will not allow the media to trick him in to saying anything negative about the other team or coach. That takes a lot of focus on his part. Bumper sticker replies or not, I like that he maintains a high respect for other teams and coaches regardless of what that team might say............class act in my opinion.

Too much meaningless coach speak...won't watch...its time to.prove it on the field this weekend and I think he will and in a bug manner....but he's definitely the biggest king of coach speak since Fulmer...
