Butch: "Mark my words..."

Might be that Jalen Hurd had a ton to do with this.

How? Is it his job to ready the team? That is something Butch has failed at all year. Is it his job to stop a high school quarterback? Is it his job to call plays.

It's on Butch. Butch needs to go, yesterday.

"...there's a lot of football yet to be played."

Those were Butch's words following USCe, probably the worst loss of our decade of mediocrity. Well, as is often the case w/ Butch, these ended up just being another meaningless phrase in the year in which it was supposed to all come together.

Anyone who believes this season is anything other than a total failure is delusional. We couldn't even win the SEC East when it's at its worst in a generation, perhaps ever.

Now, much of our talent (those who haven't already left) will be moving on, & Jones has a stable of 3*'s replacing them. This was the year & he blew it by not having his team ready to play a truly awful USCe team with two weeks to prepare.

Time to rip off the band aid, move on, & hire Kiffin. And no, I'm not kidding.

The worst loss of the decade is the Kentucky game with Dooley as coach followed by this years S Carolina game.

Don't worry guys, Butch might not even beat Missouri. They have nearly 400 yards of offense against us in the first half.

But Butch is awesome, sure...

Was with you until the last little bit about Kiffin. The rest is spot on.

And hire Kiffin...... this statement is confirmation of your idiocy. ......Lane could hire Ed O and pull his dad that he fired at USC out of retirement and the gang would all be back together again.... we could burn mattresses and everything.

Y'all can poo poo it all you want, but Kiffin is getting another SEC job, & will do well. Anyone who thinks sticking with Lyle for another year, firing him, & starting all over again is a better option than hiring a guy who is a proven QB genius & grown as a coach over last 4 years is an idiot.

I'm surprised that you think that's the worse loss the past decade. What about Kentucky, Vanderbilt, Florida, Georgia losses?
